We Are All Artists

Every Child is An Artist

Pablo Picasso produced an incredible 50,000 works of art, including paintings, sculptures, ceramics, drawings, prints, tapestries, and rugs. He also wrote plays and poetry.

He is famous for this quote about children and art: “Every child is an artist.”  But actually the quote is more so about adults. The next line of this famous quote by Pablo Picasso is, “The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.” It’s about how we all must remember and carry with us our creative and artistic souls once we leave our childhoods behind and  grow into adulthood.

Believe it or not, every adult is an artist, too. Even those who will tell you they can’t draw. That artistic ability is there. But like anything we seek to do it just needs to be nurtured and fostered.

Workshops at The ARTivity Center at Fields of Dreams Farm are focused on this very belief — that we are all artists. Every workshop and project is designed to bring out that unique creative spark that exists in each of us.

One of the best parts of holding workshops is watching that creative spark in not only children but adults too be fostered and shine brightly.
